This isn't quite breaking news, but its definitely worth mentioning.

Pogue Mahone Irish alehouse has been hosting some events as of late, featuring some fairly big names... These events are ongoing and frequent. In fact, you can expect to catch a live performance every Saturday night. They've installed a brand new front of house sound system and stage to accommodate the bands and groups who play there so you can listen to the band, as well as watch them.

This Saturday there are hip hop groups presented by H2Oakanogan Productions performing, and next week, on Tuesday, Chosen, a metal band from Ireland will be playing with locals, Psyoptic and Damned Grave. The following saturday, will be round three of ongoing Battle of the Bands hosted by Kamloops this Week, The Kamloops Brewery, Pogue Mahone, and us, Sonic Sound and Light... Don't miss it.

Also, new stuff in the store... We now have a drum teacher on staff, so if you've been wanting to learn to rock out on the skins from a professional who knows his stuff, Randy, the human metronome can help you out. Call, or stop by the store for details.
